Hi, I’m Nicole!
I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) with a holistic understanding of birth and postpartum care. My diverse background working in post-secondary education, almost becoming a midwife, becoming a mom, and working with mother-baby dyads in community has shaped me into a practitioner who sees the whole postpartum picture - not just the latch!
As a mother of two young boys, I bring genuine lived experience to every visit. My two breastfeeding experiences were very different and it has given me a unique and personal perspective on the many paths to infant feeding. My goal for every client is to help you find what works for your family and give you the confidence to succeed.
Some things I support as a Lactation Consultant are: nipple pain, engorgement, pumping, protecting supply, breast & bottle refusal, returning to work, introducing bottles, introducing solids, twin feeding, oversupply, and more!
When I’m not working you’ll find me tent-camping up north with my family or hitting up the Oakville parks and splash pads.
