With a lifelong passion for movement and sport, I bring over a decade of experience in the health and wellness space to the Makewell community. My journey began early as a children’s dance instructor in my teens. In my early 20s, I immersed myself in outdoor pursuits like climbing, white-water kayaking, and cycling. I would then spend the next couple of decades of my life pursuing different things such as raising children but would always come back to the gym. Then, in 2019—fresh off winning a Masters competition in Bikini Bodybuilding—I took a class in Inferno Hot Pilates, a modality that instantly ignited my passion for Pilates.

I was so inspired by its transformative power that I enrolled in teacher training immediately. Since then, I’ve been dedicated to sharing this energetic, core-focused, and results-driven practice with others. I started by teaching small classes in my home studio and eventually expanded into a thriving fitness community in Auckland, New Zealand, where I led regular classes for several years.

What I love most about this style of training is that it’s not only effective—it’s empowering, safe, and never boring (especially with my playlists!). Whether you're building core strength, recovering postpartum, easing chronic pain, or wanting to boost your performance in other sports, this practice delivers real, lasting change.

I’ve seen students—many of whom have become close friends—gain strength and mobility they didn’t think possible. Some come for the workout; others stay because their pain has disappeared or their surfing, running, or tennis game has improved.

My goal is to help women feel strong, capable, and empowered in their bodies. At Makewell, I’m thrilled to continue building a supportive, fun, and motivating space for women to move, grow strong, and thrive—together.
