Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP)
A Registered Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a highly trained healthcare professional with advanced education at the master’s or doctoral level. NPs are licensed to assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions, with the ability to prescribe medications (including hormonal therapy), order and interpret lab work and diagnostic imaging, and deliver preventative and primary care for individuals of all ages. NPs bring a unique blend of medical expertise and patient-centered care, combining the clinical skills of diagnosis and treatment with a strong emphasis on education, prevention, and long-term wellness. They are qualified to provide a wide range of services, including well-baby visits, reproductive health support, menopause and perimenopause care, and chronic disease management. At Makewell Health, our Nurse Practitioners work collaboratively with our pelvic health team to provide comprehensive, evidence-based care that supports the whole person. Whether you're navigating your postpartum recovery, hormonal changes, seeking pelvic health solutions, or looking for expert guidance in your family’s care, our NPs are here to offer knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough support.
