Hi there, I’m Alyson!
I am passionate about all things pelvic floor related.
Prior to specializing in pelvic floor physiotherapy, I worked as an orthopaedic physiotherapist. Though I was intrigued by the little bit of pelvic floor training we had in school, my true interest in pelvic floor physiotherapy began while I was training for a marathon and developed urinary incontinence. In an effort to truly understand what I was experiencing and to better help myself and clients in the future, I signed up for my first pelvic floor physiotherapy course. This course sparked a real passion. I can, and sometimes do, talk about pelvic floor health for hours.
I love continuing education, and in addition to the training on male and female urinary incontinence and pelvic pain, I have taken courses in pregnancy-related pelvic conditions and diastasis rectus abdominis. My goal is to continue to learn all I can to better help you reach your pelvic floor physiotherapy goals.
In my spare time I enjoy running, baking, playing with my two dogs, and spending time with my family.
I’m excited to share my passion with you!
