Core + Floor:
Your foundation for movement starts from within
Learn how your breathing, pelvic floor, deep core, posture and movement all work together
Core + Floor
Your pelvic floor and deep core muscles play an important role in stability, strength, breathing and everyday movement
Your pelvic floor isn’t only active when you’re doing a kegel
It’s working when you climb stairs, carry groceries, lift something heavy, cough, sneeze, laugh, or just move through your day
To function well, it needs strength, endurance, relaxation, and coordination, and it needs to work together with your breathing, your core, and your hips
The Class
It’s led by Erin, one of our pelvic floor physiotherapists
It’s not a drop-in fitness class
It’s physiotherapy, delivered in a small group, with real-time coaching and modifications for where you’re at
“Supervised beats solo”
(Research shows pelvic floor exercises tend to work best when they’re guided by physiotherapist, rather than done alone)
A 6-week, physiotherapist-led small group program to build your pelvic floor and core for real life.
What To Expect
1:1 pelvic health assessment before you start
6 weekly, 50-minute classes
Twice-weekly option available at a discount rate, finishing in 3 weeks instead of 6
Often covered under your physiotherapy benefits (your assessment, each class, and your follow-up), coverage varies by plan - no direct billing for the class
Individual follow-up with your pelvic floor physiotherapist after the program wraps up
Investment: $300 for the full program (1x/week)

Meet Your Physiotherapist: Erin
Erin is one of our pelvic floor physiotherapists at Makewell Health. She created Core + Floor around a simple idea: pelvic floor rehab works best when it trains the whole system, not just one muscle group.
Erin strives to create a safe, inclusive space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported. She takes a collaborative approach, working as a team to build a plan that fits your goals and lifestyle so you can feel confident and strong in your body.
She brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to pelvic health and is passionate about helping people feel stronger, more confident, and more at home in their bodies. From pregnancy and postpartum recovery to pelvic pain, incontinence, and return to activity, she believes care should be collaborative, evidence-based, and tailored to your life.
““Erin was amazing. I came to her dealing with bladder issues and she has been a great help in my healing journey. She really takes time to educate you on pelvic health which I really appreciated, and provided me so many great resources that I will continue to use in the future. I’m headed back to the US, but I wish I could have continued care with Erin. On that note, she even took the time to help me find practitioners in Florida and will be following up when I find someone local to ensure my care is transferred over properly. Thank you to Erin and the Makewell team!” ”
